KCHC Locations

The KCHC have three primary and permanent delivery sites, serving geograph-ical catchment areas that define Kosrae’s four municipalities. KCHC sites include:
1. Tafunsak Municipality Health Center, on the northern tip of the island, housed in an unused section of a municipal building, provided in-kind through an MOA by the local mayor’s office. Target community: Tafunsak Municipality, population 2,173.
2. Utwa Municipality Health Center, on the southern tip of the island, housed in facilities previously occupied by the local elementary school. Target community: Utwa Munici-pality, population 983. Utwa will also serve the southern half of Malem Municipality, population 1,300.
3. Tofol Health Center, on the Kosrae Department of Health Campus, with 647 and 223 students respectively. Target population: Kosrae High School and College of Micronesia; Lelu Municipality, population 2,160. Tofol will also serve the northern half of Malem Municipality.
